We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer, a Problem Solver to join the CommandCentral Evidence Library project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Influence and create new designs, software, architecture, and methods for deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Be a contributing member of the teams that define the technical approach, system and software architecture, and API design of Motorola Solutions next generation in-car and wearable law enforcement video devices and the software that supports them
- Learn and deeply understand the range of Motorola Solutions internal platforms
- Create a technical approach and a design for new features that span the organization
- Drive new capabilities and requirements in our platforms to support new product features
- Take part in a on-call rotation (one sprint on, multiple sprint off)
- Between 3 and 8 years of experience in Software Development and minimum two years of experience in developing scalable, hosted web applications
- Knowledge C# and .Net Core
- Experience in building Windows applications
- Willingness to work on any problem type - development, testing, deployment automation
- Ability to learn and quickly adapt to solve practical problems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Additional Optional Qualifications:
- Experience with hosting and developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure) would be a plus
- Knowledge of .Net Framework
- Linux operating system knowledge
